Since the cut-off this year was low, one could have complete the required attempts in the section very easily in the allotted time of 40 minutes.

Multiple Choice Questions:

In terms of difficulty level, a higher proportion of questions were in the medium range as compared to Short Answer Questions section. Students should have been judicious in selecting the questions that were either easy or those that they were conceptually clear about.

Verbal Ability Question Types:

Reading Comprehension passages – Two around 500 words each with a total of 12 questions

Conversation Analysis – 6 questions

Fill in the blanks – 13 questions

The Verbal Ability section was mostly easy and students could have maximized their scores here for an overall high score.

One passage for reading comprehension was based on contemporary developments around misinformation and fake posts on social. Students who would have read and heard about the topic would have got the context and answered the questions correctly and quickly. The other passage was from Consumer Behavior (an important topic in management education) based on the experience of consumption in today’s times.
